Biography
Mr McCully entered Parliament in the 1987 General election. He was first appointed a Minister in October 1991. He has held the Customs, Housing and Tourism portfolios and is currently ACC Minister and Minister of Sport Fitness and Leisure.

He holds an LLB and is a qualified barrister and solicitor. Prior to entering Parliament, he was principal of a major public relations company.

Mr McCully was born in Whangarei in 1953.
