REGISTRATION FEES One registration form must be completed for each person attending the conference. Incomplete registration forms can not be accepted and will be returned. Spaces are limited so Registration to the conference will only be accepted upon receipt of the official registration form (copies of the form are acceptable) correctly completed together with the appropriate fees and subject to space availability. Full registration fee, $750 (incl GST) . The conference fees include access to all conference sessions and proceedings, morning and afternoon teas within the conference schedule, social meet and greet cocktails on Wednesday 12 November, lunch on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 November. These must be received by us on Friday 10 October. Late registration fee, $$825 (incl GST) applies for all registrations opened in the mail on or after Monday 13 October 1997. Registrations will therefore need to be in the mail on Wednesday 8 October to be sure of being received on time. The Late fee includes all of the above conference activities All registrations close on Friday 31 October. REGISTRATIONS AND PAYMENTS All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include goods and services tax. Payments in any other currency cannot be accepted. Overseas personal cheques cannot be accepted. Overseas participants are advised to send a bank draft or pay by credit card. NOTE: Credit Card payments carry a surcharge of 4%. Cheques should be made payable to "The Population Conference" and sent to the Conference Secretariat. The registration form is a tax invoice.

CANCELLATIONS To protect the registered delegate, all cancellations must be received in writing and sent to the Conference Secretariat, Corporate Arrangements Ltd. Cancellations made prior to 31 October 1997 will be refunded less $180 fixed costs. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after 31 October. A name substitution can be made but the original name will appear in conference listings. Accommodation deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is received after 10 October 1997. RECEIPTS Receipts confirming payment, allocated panel discussions and hotel reservations, will be sent out after the close of early registration and again in late October for later registrants. ACCOMPANYING PERSON Persons who wish to accompany delegates to the conference and partake of the social activities, but not attend the business sessions, may do so by payment of the appropriate fee as shown on the registration form. PARTNERS The Conference Secretariat will be happy to assist in organising tours, trips or transportation for people accompanying conference delegates. Please contact the Help Desk after registration. HELP DESK A Help Desk will be available throughout the conference to assist you with any queries you may have regarding conference, travel plans, and optional activities during the conference.

Formal registration closes on October 10. It is important for a diverse range of people to participate in the conference, and the Government recognises that some community groups may require financial assistance in order to attend. Decisions on such assistance will be made once registrations have been received.

 

EXHIBITION SPACE There will be spaces available for interested individuals, organisations and commercial companies to exhibit relevant materials or to set up forums for discussion on new initiatives and interesting ideas. Contact the Conference Secretariat for details.
